Gastrointestinal problems

Gastrointestinal problems are the problems related to the digestive system, which may range from simple Acidity, constipation issues, gastric ulcer, to liver disorders, gallstones, piles and many more.

Irritable bowel syndrome

Irritable Bowel syndrome is a condition where the functioning of Agni (intestine) is disturbed causing constipation or diarrhoea, or both. Ayurveda medications effectively take care of Agni and can successfully treat IBS.

Joint pain

Joint pain may manifest in various ways like swollen joints, immense pain, difficulty in movements, etc. Joint pain may be limited to specific joints such as backache, lower backache, painful knee joints, problems with intervertebral discs, spondylitis, etc.

Arthritis

Arthritis means inflammation of joints. This can either be a degenerative pathology or avrodhajanya pathology due to saam dosha, as in Aamavata or Vatarakta. The treatment varies in either case.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a degenerative condition, wherein the porosity in the bones increases, causing joint pain, weak bones. Ayurveda relates this with Vata prakopa and offers beneficial treatment on the same ground.

Sciatica

Sciatica or Gridhrasi is a severe painful condition affecting the posterior aspect of one or both the lower limbs. This excruciating pain originates in lower back, hip, thigh, calf muscles and ends up in the toe.

Urinary disorders

The health of our body does not only depend on how healthy we eat, but many times on how well the excretory system functions. Any impairment in its functioning causes ill-effects on the body. Urinary disorders may include urinary stones, painful or burning urination, obstruction of urine, excessive or inadequate urination, kidney problems and many more.

Urinary tract infections

Controlling of urine urge for long hours, unhygienic conditions, obstruction in urinary tract can cause frequent urinary tract infections. It may be associated with burning or painful urination, fever with chills, urgency to pass urine etc.

Urinary stones

Urinary stones refer to Renal Calculi. It is known as Mutra ashmari in Ayurveda. It is a troublesome condition which can emerge as an emergency, with vivid complaints like severe pain in abdomen, obstruction to pass urine, burning micturition, vomiting.
