Welcome to Seven Ayurveda

A circle has no corners, the two ends finally meet and complete the shape. A circle symbolizes completeness in itself; similarly only genesis completes the circle of life. Procreation or having a baby gives immense happiness and a true sense of completeness to an individual. Also a healthy mind in a healthy body helps to keep up this sense of completeness. At Seven Ayurveda Care we help you achieve this Holistic state.

The number Seven denotes completeness or spiritual perfection, a perfect world number 4 when added to divine number 3 resulted in the number Seven (7). It is the Earth crowned with heaven. The number seven has its importance for perfection in all the religions Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhism, etc. It is believed that God created our planet in Seven days. To sight some other examples we have Seven rivers, Sapta rishis, Seven prana, Sapta swara (notes of music), Seven days of a week, Seven continents, Seven forms of Goddess Durga, Seven promises and Seven rounds taken by the bride and groom in Hindu marriage. Mythology explains that there are Seven worlds in universe. Seven directions (left, right, up, down, forward, back and center). There are Seven colors in rainbow. The World has Seven seas. Seven standard measuring base units.

Now, let’s have a look at how number Seven links up with Medial science : Life operates in a cycle of Seven, changes in the body takes place every Seven years. Human physiology is constructed on a law of Sevens :

Our body is divided into upper and lower half, both of which consists of Seven parts. Most species have Seven cervical vertebras. Seven layers of skin, Seven bones in face, ankle, Seven openings in the head. Majority species have conception period of days or weeks in a multiple of Seven, as in humans it is 280days.

Ayurveda explains our  body is based on Seven dhatus(Tissues)  Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja, Shukra. Seven chakras in the body. Seven Kala i.e. Sapta dhara kala, the differentiating layer between the two dhatus. The formation and development of the baby in the womb completes in Seven months, the further two months helps the baby gain weight and makes the fetus fit to survive in the external environment.

Fevers and intermittent attacks of gout, plague and similar complaints have a period of 7, 14, 21 days, multiple of Seven. There are Seven states of consciousness, Seven energies which awaken in spiritual practice.

Thus, on keen observation we can notice that whole world and our life revolves around the number SEVEN, in true sense; whether it is related to perfection, mythology, spirituality, health, auspiciousness, mathematics, time, body structure and its functioning and lot more.
