What is Male Infertility

Male Infertility is inability to induce pregnancy, even after frequent attempts of unprotected sex.

Infertility in males can be a result of excessive stress, fear, tight clothing, working in a hot environment for long duration. Smoking and Alcohol consumption further worsens the problem by affecting the Sperm count and Sperm morphology.

Generalised debility, muscle weakness may lead to erectile dysfunction. Infection in the reproductive tract, or any kind of stricture can cause an obstructive pathology.

Common problems in Male Infertility

The common problems associated with male infertility are –
Oligospermia - low sperm count
Azoospermia - absence of sperm
Sperm abnormalities
Decreased sperm motility
Erectile dysfunction
Anovulatory cycle (menstrual cycle without ovulation)
